Initially, he spent 16 years at Aker Engineering, followed by another 16 years at Aibel before joining Fram Marine in 2012. His expertise primarily lies in marine project engineering, spanning all phases from tendering and feasibility studies through FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) to full-scale EPC projects. Notably, he has been involved in projects related to Offshore Oil & Gas platforms and Converter Stations for power transmission to shore. In recent years, Hans-Ole has held Technical Project Management roles within HVDC Converter Station projects at ABB Sweden and Hitachi Energy AB. His previous responsibilities encompassed Structural, Architectural and Marine Department Management, EPC Work Processes and integrated IT system solutions. Additionally, he has supervised disciplines in EPC projects and contributed to the design and analysis of complex structures. Hans-Ole holds a Master’s Degree in Marine Technology and Naval Architecture from the former NTH (now NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway.
