Marek Kaklin
Marek brings extensive experience within Marine Project Management and Marine Operations – including vessel new building, retrofitting and conversions through roles as Project Manager, Fleet Manager and Technical Superintendent.
He is also experienced in Technology Development in the renewable energy sector, developing new technology to reduce emissions. Currently he’s engaged in the wind industry, within concept and prototype development.
Marek holds a M.Sc degree in Marine Engineering (specialization Maritime Economics) from the Maritime University of Szczecin and possesses a Master Marine certificate.
Synnøve Evensen
Synnøve is a long-awaited member of the team, as she’s a vital contributor in developing Fram Marines’ new service within Project Control. Synnøve has an MRR from Norwegian University of SørØst with specialization in financial controlling/management and is also a state authorized Accountant. Her experience is broad, but also specialized – where she has worked with secure Financial Control in relevant projects, cost control, development of financial system, structure and analysis and general support to Project Management.
Her technical specialization has been within ERP systems, which she has worked with for several years. Furthermore, her years in the international industry have also given her good knowledge and expertise in international issues, laws, and regulations, as well as good insight into different business cultures across national borders.
Erik Bjerknes Løken
Erik holds a M.Sc degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from NTNU – specialization in Hydrodynamics, and brings experience within Project Execution and Management, and also Project Engineering where his technical expertise is developed through a variety of projects in the oil and gas industry.
Throughout the years Erik has also gained valuable experience within Management Consulting, Sales, and Data Analytics.
Erik is currently involved in the development of a wind concept and prototype by delivering Project and Technical management.
Bjarne Birkeland
Bjarne joins Fram Marine as Associated Consultant and brings more than 35 years of international experience. This covers onshore and offshore oil & gas projects, deep-sea shipping/logistics projects, asset management of offshore vessels & onshore facilities, vessel newbuilds, conversions and operations. The main disciplines covered are Marine Engineering, Investment Management, Risk Management, HSEQ leadership and Project Management /Director roles.
Bjarne holds a M.Sc from NTH within Marine Technology and Naval Architecture and has for the last 5 years worked as Project Manager/Project Director responsible for construction and conversions of wind turbine- and foundations installation vessels in China. The new-builds included one Heavy Lift Vessel (HLV) and one large Jack-up, both starting work on firm wind installation projects.
With his broad international Project Management experience, Bjarne can conduct concept-, project- and risk reviews of complex projects. Further he can step in for clients in temporary or full-time project manager roles to bring projects with technical-, contractual- and schedule challenges back on track.
