Ola Often, M. SC in naval and marine engineering, has more than 40 years experience in the oil and gas, wind and marine industries, from analysis methodology and technology development, through technical and operation menagement to project management of large conversions and newbuilds.
Main fields of work have been in subsea production systems, pipeline and risers, floating production systems, turret and mooring particularly, drilling units, floating and fixed offshore wind installations and passenger vessels. As technical advisor, he has contributed special expertise in regulatory compliance, structural integrity, safety and project risk assessments as well as maritime operations. Ola Often was one of the founders of Fram Marine with the philosophy that Fram Marine shall deliver management based on an in-depth technical understanding combined with a structured approach to planning and execution.
