Her background spans chartering, commercial management and industrial projects in tankers, LNG, ammonia and digitalisation. This breadth of experience gives her a strong understanding of the technical and operational demands faced by asset-intensive companies across maritime, energy and renewables.

Before joining Fram Marine, Karen held senior leadership roles at Kongsberg Digital, Nor-Shipping and Höegh LNG, and she has also worked for BW, Yara and Koch.

Karen is known for her ability to create customer value and high-performing teams. She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
