Richard Monster has 30+ years of experience within the marine and offshore industry. Starting work at shipyards, quite soon a transfer to special heavy transport was made, followed by supervision of the newbuilding of small seismic vessels. During these assignments valuable practical experience was gained through work at yards and sites. The work as qualified surveyor for ABS gave, apart from an insight in marine regulations, insight in the practical side of engineering and valuable understanding of details of welding, materials, equipment and control systems. Since 2007 multiple assignments covered the engineering, execution and management of platform transport and installation and related marine operations. The last 8 years in leading positions within the marine operations discipline. Richard holds a B.Sc. degree in both Naval Architecture and Business Administration from the Netherlands.
