He has managed conversion, upgrade, and retrofit projects, and has developed exhaust gas scrubber systems. Øystein has successfully completed scheduled dry dockings, repairs, and upgrades of ships, providing detailed progress and cost reports. As a Superintendent, he has extensive technical and operational maritime competence. He has also served as a Marine Superintendent, specializing in maritime operations. Øystein has significant experience with company management systems, including CSO, DPA, ISM, ISPS, and ISO standards. Additionally, he has worked as an IT Consultant, implementing IT solutions and Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) on company ships and in the office.
